George and American star Alexis, who joined the pro line-up for the first time this year, made it to the end of the BBC One dance show’s 23rd series and went up against Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu in the grand final in December.

In the end, it was former footballer Karen and her pro partner Carlos were confirmed as this year’s winners and it was another history-making win in the ballroom, with Karen being the first footballer to take home the title.

But it was previously revealed that George would be reuniting with Alexis for a stint on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2026 tour, which kick off at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on January 23. They were announced back in December alongside Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley and returning star Layton Williams, who will re-join former dance partner Nikita.
