A SCHOOLGIRL told her mum “goodnight, I love you” before she was found dead with her teen boyfriend in a caravan, an inquest heard.
Cherish Bean, 15, and Ethan Slater, 17, were discovered at Little Eden Holiday Park, near Bridlington, East Yorkshire, on February 18.

Their cause of death has not yet been establish but carbon monoxide poisoning remains a “primary line of inquiry” for police.
An inquest heard today how the teenagers had been on a family holiday to the park when the double tragedy unfolded.
Cherish had complained of a headache but other than that, the couple seemed “fit and well”, it was said.
Describing their final moments, area coroner Paul Marks added: “Cherish left the family for the smaller cabin next door, with Ethan at 9pm to watch TV.
“She returned to the main cabin at 9.50pm complaining of a headache, spoke with her mother and had Calpol as the family had no paracetamol.
“Cherish went back to bed in the small lodge and texted her mother at 10.20pm to say goodnight and that she loved her.
“The circumstances were similar for Ethan, who went back to the cabin at a similar time.”
Cherish and Ethan, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, were discovered dead the following morning in Cabin 31 – known as the “man cave”.
The coroner’s court was told that police arrested and interviewed four suspects connected with the management and maintenance of the site on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
A boiler recovered from the couple’s lodge is also being forensically examined.
Outlining the investigation so far, DCI Ben Robinson said: “We have obtained witness accounts from family and friends of the deceased.
“We have spoken to numerous persons who contacted the police reporting that they had also stayed at the Little Eden Country Park and in particular the man cave.”
DCI Robinson said family liaison officers had been deployed to support both families as the investigation continues.
The full inquest will take place at a future date yet to be fixed.
Officers were scrambled to the park on February 18 following reports of a concern for safety.
The bodies of the two teens were tragically discovered inside one of the rental properties.
Humberside Police confirmed it attended all the properties at the holiday park to ensure everyone’s safety.
In a tribute to her daughter, Cherish’s mum said: “My girl, my world, my love, my everything.
“My perfect girl, my angel, has left this world and we are broken as a family. I am broken as a mother, and I will never ever be the same again.
“If you know me, I live and breathe my babies, and we were away for a few nights making the best memories ever. We have had the best life together and it has been ripped from under us.
“There are no words, I am shattered and will never recover. Hug your children tonight you do not know how lucky you are.
“Ethan, bless you darling, such a good boy with a kind heart and I loved you like my own.”
Ethan’s mum also released a heartbreaking tribute, saying the teen was the “most beautiful young man to walk the earth“.
She added: “He would help anyone and was a strong family man. He took care of himself and loved his mum, stepdad, brothers and sister.
“There’s not one person who would dislike him even if they tried. His smile was contagious, and he could light up any room he walked into.
“Ethan, you will always be remembered for the amazing young man you were, and the one you were destined to be. We hope you know how loved you are our boy, rest well and keep the table warm for us up there.
“Cherish was the apple of Ethan’s eye, everyone could see how smitten they both were. She was beautiful, elegant, and made Ethan happy. We know you will keep each other young and safe.
“Look after each other. Rest in peace.”
