He was staying at the Weir Meadow Holiday Park in Lower Leyes, Evesham with his family.

After he was reported missing, police found CCTV that spotted him crossing the road at Waterside in the Worcestershire town at around 8.40pm.

Malcolm could be seen wearing black trousers, a dark green jumper with a light-coloured sleeveless jacket or jumper over the top, and light brown shoes.

The image was released as West Mercia Police launched an urgent appeal to find him.

But now cops have said they have found a body.

A formal identification of the discovery has not yet taken place.

However, the force says that they have contacted Malcolm’s family.

The force believes his death not to be suspicious.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Sadly, a body was found earlier today in the search for a missing 84-year-old man who was last seen at Weir Meadow Holiday Park in Evesham.

“Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place, the man’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.

“His death is not being treated as suspicious.”
