Sydney Swans Stars’ Secret Love Lives Exposed After Explosive Hotel Scandal
All but one of the Sydney Swans players stood down for bringing exotic dancers back to their hotel for lap dances after a late-night booze fest are in committed relationships, with one WAG moving across the country to support his football career.
AFL stars Isaac Heeney, 30, Nick Blakey, 26, Riley Bice, 25, James Jordon, 25, and Chad Warner, 25, have been banned from playing the remainder of the 2026 season for breaching the club’s standards in the early hours of Monday morning.
Swans chief executive Matthew Pavlich said on Wednesday that players are held ‘to a really high standard’ and should not have been late-night drinking or inviting women back to their hotel – the Pullman East Melbourne – at 4am.
‘It was staying out late, it was drinking, it was to continue their night,’ Pavlich said.
‘It was bringing women back to the hotel. It was a long way short of what we expect of our players.
‘And we’re holding them to a really high standard. But they were well short of anywhere near that standard.’
None of the men have been arrested or charged. The club said the sanctions were separate from sexual assault allegations.
It can now be revealed that Blakey, Heeney, Jordon and Warner have splashed their long-term girlfriends all over their Instagram profiles – one WAG is an Olympian, another is a nurse, a third is an influencer.

Heeney proposed to influencer Steffie Waters during a getaway to French Polynesia in October, just months after they went viral for sharing an Instagram post wearing matching Christmas jumpers.
His jumper read ‘official stocking stuffer’, while her jumper read: ‘I’m the stocking’.
Earlier this year, Heeney, an avid self-promoter, uploaded a YouTube video to his channel showing the renovation of ‘Heeney HQ’, as he called it.
In the footage, the loved-up pair could be seen walking through the building site in Maroubra, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, while discussing whether to turn one room into a cinema or a gym.
Heeney, who had only recently turned 30 when the video was uploaded in May, said he thought he was ‘getting old’.
‘But I feel good, I feel like I’m still 25 or 26, but probably the maturity of an 18-year-old,’ he said.
In another clip, Heeney could be seen ready to pack his Nike ‘lucky undies’ into a bag ahead of a trip to Melbourne for a game.

He explained that he only ever wears them while playing, and has marked them with a tick so he can tell them apart.
Heeney had a one-match suspension in 2024 fr striking a player from St Kilda which made him ineligible for the Brownlow that year.
Chad Warner
Warner’s girlfriend Alice Hughes moved with him from Perth to Sydney for his football career.
He is represented by TGI Sports Talent, and offers personalised videos to his fans for $110.
In 2022, when Warner was just 21, he was the victim of a nude photo scandal.

Nick Blakey
Blakey is in a relationship with Olympic sprinter Ella Connolly, who has represented Australia at the Paris 2024 Games and a number of world championships.
He was born in Melbourne but grew up in Sydney, and his father is AFL legend and former Swans coach John Blakey.
Last year, he was the victim of a ‘potential inappropriate touching’ incident during a game against the Brisbane Lions.
Blakey fell over and Lions forward Henry Smith stumbled over him.
Smith got back to his feet while Blakey lay on the turf, but slow motion footage showed Smith’s fingers making contact with Blakey’s backside as he got up.
There was an investigation, but it was closed because neither club made a complaint.

James Jordon
Jordan is dating charity worker Emily Twycross.
Very little is known about their relationship, but they are both from towns bordering NSW and Victoria – he grew up in Yarrawonga and she’s from Wodonga.
Jordan is an only-child who went to boarding school in Melbourne on a scholarship.
He said in an interview that he grew up playing cricket and football, but he didn’t think about playing professionally until AFL clubs started approaching him at 18.

Riley Bice
Of the five sanctioned players, Bice is the only one who has not gone public with a relationship.
There are a number of Instagram fan pages dedicated to him, but there are only five posts on his actual profile.
He grew up in Albury, on the NSW-Victoria border and started playing for the Swans last year.
The scene unfolded following the Swans its 36-point victory over Essendon at the MCG on Sunday.
They celebrated as a team the following night, but a handful of players wanted to keep partying.
One player reportedly arranged for at least two women to come to the hotel in the early hours.
Players reportedly returned to the hotel in several groups between about 2.15am and 3.40am, with some allegedly seen yelling on the street.

The women at the centre of the allegations reportedly arrived after 4am.
A commotion allegedly erupted inside one of the players’ rooms after a woman claimed an understanding about what was ‘off limits’ had been violated.
One of the women then left the room and went downstairs, where she confronted staff from the club and hotel.
People in the hotel lobby heard a visibly upset woman tell staff she had been ‘inappropriately touched’.
Victoria Police subsequently attended the hotel and confirmed officers were investigating a report of sexual assault.
All five were questioned by police as part of an investigation into the alleged assault.
Daily Mail does not suggest any of the players are under investigation or involved in any wrongdoing, just that they spoke to police about the alleged incident.
None of the WAGs have made public statements following the allegations against their footballer boyfriends, but all except Waters have changed their profiles to private.
