LOVE Island fans were left “cringing” after Jack made an “embarrassing” slip-up and was then called out by Sher.

The pair have been getting to know each other for almost two weeks since the American bombshell entered the villa during the show’s USA twist, but fans are finding their romance awkward to watch.

Jack has found himself in a triangle with Sher twice as she got to know Scott, who later ended things with her, and is now chatting with Harrison.

Despite insisting that Jack is her “number one” in the villa, the Irishman has been getting increasingly frustrated at feeling like a second option.

This has made for uncomfortable watching, as Jack seems to be nervous around Sher, as he tries to keep her happy.

Last night Ronan Keating‘s son got so flustered when talking to the US bombshell, that he made a slip up.

It came when the pair were sat in the garden, and Jack asked Sher: “How you doin’ babes?”

“I’m alright, how are you?” she replied.

But Jack then slipped up and asked her again how she was.

“I’m feeling good, how you doing?” he said.

Rather than just letting it go, Sher then pulled poor Jack up on his slip up and scoffed: “You’ve just asked me that.”

The Irishman then appeared to get flustered after being called out by her.

Sher embarrassing Jack didn’t go unnoticed by fans, with one saying: “Sher HATES Jack!”

This one added: “Sher and Jack are soooo f***ing awkward. This is soooo cringe to watch.

This fan commented: “I don’t like how Sher talks to Jack.”

Yesterday fans begged Sher to “set Jack free” and accused the US bombshell of leading him on with no intention to have a relationship.

During a recent episode, Sher repeatedly flirted with Harrison before having a chat with Jack, who promised to be “more fun” in their romance.

The scenes left fans cringing, as one said: “Why is Sher still leading Jack on, we all know deep down she hates his guts!!!! I don’t like her and how she’s treating Jack. Okay tell him you don’t think it’s gonna work so he can move on.”

Another wrote: “Omg I actually can’t watch Jack actively fumble Sher everyday I wish she would just put him out of his misery”.

“Sher needs to put him out of his misery cos based on that chat alone I sense she hates him lol,” said a third.

A fourth echoed: “Sher is just leading on Jack bc she doesn’t like him”.

“Sher using Jack this whole time is kinda cruel bc she does not like this man,” mused another.

It comes after viewers were worried Jack was going to quit the show when the triangle with Sher and Harrison began.

While he was thrilled when Sher returned to him after things didn’t work out with Scott, Jack was visibly frustrated when she instantly showed interest in bombshell Harrison.

Despite an attempt to express his feelings to Sher, the star simply replied that she wouldn’t say no to people trying to get to know her – leaving them at a crossroads.

The tumultuous time had many worried that Jack’s time in the villa could be nearing an end.

Despite entering on day one of the show, Jack has failed to find a deep connection during his time in the villa – trying his luck with Whitney, Lucinda, Kyra, Imani and Sher.
