The 2026 bride has come clean about who she thinks is responsible for the never-ending girl drama on the dating show’s thirteenth season, singling out one controversial participant who was “behind it all”
Married At First Sight’s Alissa Fay claims that Gia Fleur is responsible for causing chaos among the women in the 2026 series.
The 2026 bride, who is married to David Momoh in the dating show’s thirteenth season, opened the lid on the “mean girl” drama that has dominated screens over the past few weeks, calling out one bride for fuelling the fire behind the scenes.
“Gia was behind it all,” Alissa told TV WEEK, accusing the participant of wanting to “stir the pot” and sending the infamous screenshots which emerged during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.

“The more I think about it, it was just Gia and Bec getting at each other, Juliette getting involved, and everyone else getting caught up in their drama.”
Addressing the screenshot scandal, which saw fellow bride Bec Zacharia use offensive language to describe Alissa and her husband in a group chat, the 33-year-old dubbed the messages “utterly disgusting” and “malicious”.
“After reading several messages that were screen-grabbed and sent to me, I knew they were all talking appallingly, especially Gia and Bec,” she said of the group chat, which also included former brides Brook Crompton, Rebecca Zukowksi and Mel Akbay.
According to Fay, the months-long “mean girl” behaviour saw her “pushed towards the edge”.

“At this point I’m just losing it,” she added.
On Sunday night, it was revealed that Gia had sent fellow bride Juliette Chae screenshots of group chat texts in the hopes of exposing some of the harmful things said by Bec.

Last month, those screenshots were obtained by Daily Mail Australia and shared with the public.
One message, written by Bec, saw the bride claim that she was going to “go so f***ing hard on Alissa and her fake relationship”, with another bride, believed to be Gia, chiming in: “Go babe we agree and got you”.

Other problematic text messages showed the brides calling Alissa a “rat”, with one penning: “Nah I don’t care lol don’t like her never will.”
Later on, a bride said it was obvious that one couple was “dying to be influencers”, with another calling them “Christian influencer wannabes”.
It is believed that the participants they are referring to are Alissa and her on-screen husband David.
The messages were sent before the chaotic second dinner party, however they were brought to Alissa’s attention during Sunday night’s episode.
