Love Island Winners Finally Revealed as Maya Jama Crowns the Villa Champions in an Emotional Finale
Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi have been crowned winners of Love Island 2026.
Tonight’s instalment of the ITV2 dating show, hosted by Maya Jama, 31, saw the pair, alongside Simba and Angelista, and Kav and Jasmine, battle it out for the top spot and a £50k prize.

After finding out the news, Lorenzo shouted: “What the hell?!”
Julia added: “I would just love to say thank you to everyone!”
And in the background Lorenzo was giggling to himself saying: “What the hell is going on?!”
Maya asked: “£50k – is that a big thing for you? Are you happy to receive that as well?”

“I just didn’t think that coming into Casa, I’d be stood here,” Julia replied as Lorenzo couldn’t contain his laughter.
When asked what they are going to spend their money on, Lorenzo confessed that he had no idea, while Julia said that she wants him to move in with her.
Ahead of their win, Lorenzo admitted: “The rock has been smashed. It’s smashed it bits. I don’t know where it’s gone!”

Maya pointed out: “We’ve actually been quite emotional throughout. We saw you at the beginning, then went into… it’s been beautiful to witness.”
She then asked: “What was it about Julia that made things different from the rest of them?”
Lorenzo replied: “Well I, I don’t know of this was shown, but I was speaking a lot as a joke, all the girls were getting a bit ticked off about it. I kept talking about this dream girl Saskia.
“I thought about this girl, blonde, looked like a supermodel, had a crazy personality, European accent, I walked into Casa Amor and we were all laughing outside thinking she could be in there, she could be in there.
“I walked in and I was like… there she is!”
He added: “I’ve never met anyone as beautiful and crazy as Julia. I think that we, I manifested it, the Love Island Gods, yeah…”
Sunday’s episode of Love Island saw a selection of our favourite former Islanders return to the villa one last time to vote for who they thought shouldn’t be in the final.
Mica and Samraj received a whopping eight votes from their co-stars, which meant that they had to leave.
But in a shock twist, they were later told that only three couples were heading into the final – and they had to send one pair packing – Tommy and Yas.

This is the first time that there has ever been three couples in the final.
Elsewhere in the vote, Julia and Lorenzo received two votes from Sean and Lola, while Jasmine and Kavan got three votes from Maria, Chidi and Charleen.
And Tommy and Yasmin found themselves with six votes from Sam, Ope, Victoria, Tina, Namibia, and Ellie.
It comes after The Sun revealed on Sunday that there would be a firepit twist which would blow open the final in shake-up that nobody would see coming.
A source said at the time: “Bosses want to keep the format feeling fresh and the Islanders on their toes and this certainly did that.
“Although sad, they all breathed a sigh of relief when the first dumped pair left the firepit to go and pack their bags.
“Nobody saw this coming and it caused chaos.
“The full saga will play out across Sunday and Monday’s episodes.”
The loved-up couple will soon get their hands on a whopping £50k.
Until 2022, one half of the couple was handed two envelopes and could keep the full £50k, though no winner ever did.
That twist was scrapped and the pot is now divided automatically, giving the winners £25k each.
Maya warned that tonight’s show wouldn’t be following the usual script, saying: “This final is going to be a bit different to the rest of them. They’re shaking up the format.
“I still don’t even know what that shakeup is, but I know there’s going to be a different format for the final.
“Live TV is my favourite. This is where I thrive because I can say silly things and go off script as much as possible without them being able to edit it out.”
It comes after last year Toni Laites and Cach Mercer were crowned winners of the 2025 series last year.
They were up against Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley and Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes in the final three.
Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood placed fourth in the show.
