They deemed Samraj and Mica, 21, the weakest couple and therefore they received eight votes – highest amount given.
As they looked back on their summer of love, model Samraj was sent a text, giving them the power to dump another couple alongside them.
Upon exiting their home for the last eight weeks, the 25-year-old spilled the beans on his plans with Mica for the outside world as he hit back at the Islanders that voted them out.
Samraj said: “I realised from the beginning, I would have loved this girl either as my best friend or as my girlfriend, a partner.
“Now she’s both of them wrapped in one.
“Then we just went from strength to strength. I can’t wait to go to Barbados.”
It seems the loved-up couple will be boarding a flight to the tropics soon with Mica dying to take her beau to where she grew up.
Mica’s auntie Mia Mottley is the country’s first-ever female president and is good pals with pop star Rhianna.
“When everyone’s saying you’re not genuine, you guys do that in the UK. I’ll be in the beach house,” added Samraj.
He was then asked what leaving the villa was like and while Samraj claimed he was “happy” to be sent packing he wasn’t impressed by some of the axed stars “justifications.”
Samraj said: “This was the first time I was happy to go.
“What didn’t sit right with me was some of the justifications people were using. People have mentioned friends-to-lovers as a reason.
“I don’t get that. If anything, you have more of a solid foundation. I can’t wait to prove people wrong.”
He continued: “In five years’ time, six years’ time, Mica’s got a big ring on her finger and she’s expecting – ‘Oh, friends-to-lovers doesn’t work?’ I can’t wait.
“Time will prove stuff.”
The Love Island final airs tomorrow night at 9:00pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
