Love Island Shock: Fitzy’s Ex Takes Brutal Swipe at Him While Publicly Defending Julia

LOVE Island star Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald’s ex Helen Galgey has taken a swipe at him while defending Julia Majchrzak.

Polish beauty Julia has won a legion of fans by questioning Sean and girlfriend Lola Deal’s relationship in the villa, asking why Sean wanted a “test” in Casa Amor and debating whether their romance is genuine.

Radio presenter Helen – who went on several dates with Sean – has now waded into the row to defend Julia, praising her “bluntness” and saying people “choose to misunderstand her”.

The Dublin-based influencer posted a photo of Julia on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, set to Nicki Minaj’s song, Pills N Potions.

The lyrics, “They could never make me hate you / Even though what you was doing wasn’t tasteful,” played out over the screen.

In a separate slide, she wrote: “I was always taken up wrong and my bluntness was seen as a negative.”

She went on: “Until I get my tizzy diagnosed and suddenly it was more palatable (Or at least the ‘excuse’ was enough for people).

“I never understood why we can’t just take people for how they are. Julia reminds me so much of me lol. I’m so protective of her.

“She’s not misunderstood, people are choosing to misunderstand her. Life’s never been that serious!!!”

Helen went on to name a series of popular cartoon villains, penning: “Also we need a**holes – how boring would life be without Patty and Selma, Miss Hanagin, Jafar and anyone else I’ve been compared to.”

Julia got to know Sean, 25, in Casa Amor and later called him out for saying he was “open” in there.

She clashed with Lola, 28, when Lola insinuated that she has no “morals” for flirting with him in Casa. Lola went on to call her a “b***h” to Sean.

During a game of “savage truths” in Wednesday night’s episode, Julia hit out at their romance once again.

She made it clear she thought the couple wouldn’t be compatible outside the Majorcan villa because she feels their connection “isn’t genuine.”

Lola was quick to slam Julia, 26, saying she “should be scared of her.”

The other Islanders appeared to follow her lead and piled in on the backlash towards Julia, naming her as someone they wouldn’t want to go on a double date with.

They referenced Julia’s character in their reasons, with Finley Maddock even saying he was concerned she’d start an argument with someone who “looked at her wrong”.

Fans were furious with the Islanders and backed Julia all the way online, calling her their “winner.”

“Julia has to win that £50k,” said one fan.

Another viewer penned: “Julia we will win you that £50k.”
