Sydney socialite Annabelle Price has been found dead inside her Maroubra apartment.

Emergency services attended the eastern suburbs unit for a welfare check last Sunday, where police forced entry and discovered the body of the 34-year-old mother of two.

NSW Police confirmed a woman aged in her 30s was found dead at the Wride Street apartment, with no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

“About 2.40pm (on March 29), officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command responded to reports of a concern for welfare at a unit on Wride Street, Maroubra,” a NSW Police statement read.

“With assistance of Police Rescue, entry was forced into the unit where the body of a woman aged in her 30s was located.

“A crime scene was established.

“There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.”

The sudden death has sent ripples through Sydney’s social scene, where Price was a familiar name.

The former model was well known in the city’s affluent eastern suburbs circles and had made headlines over the years for her colourful romantic history.

She became known in high-profile Sydney circles through her relationships with prominent Harbour City financiers and remained a recognisable figure in the social set.
