I’m A Celebrity viewers have slammed Ruby Wax for an ‘inappropriate and embarrassing’ gesture towards AngryGinge during Monday’s episode of the ITV show.

Earlier on this week the streamer, 24, took on the Bushtucker Trial Terrflying Tours – which saw him put his head in a box full of unwanted guests, and try to retrieve the stars with just his mouth.

Ruby, 72, and Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, 49, waved him off before crossing the bridge to do the scary challenge.

Before heading off, Ruby stopped him and said: ‘I just want to give you the lucky underpants. I always wear red when, you know, I want to pull off something.’

AngryGinge then said to camera: ‘Ruby gave me her lucky underwear. However, we will say how lucky they are today.’

She then took the YouTuber’s rucksack and placed the knickers in his bag.

Ruby said: ‘Take that along and you think of those lucky pants.’

AngryGinge added: ‘I won’t be touching them. I won’t be doing anything with them.’

Lisa then shouted: ‘Bye darling!’ as she waved him off, while Ruby added: ‘The pants are clean!’

‘They will be remaining in the bag until I get back to camp and Ruby can retrieve them from the bag,’ AngryGinge said to camera.

Those watching at home were not impressed.

One said on X: ‘Anyone else think Ruby giving Ginge her underwear is just weird and disgusting. Imagine the outrage if it was the other way round!’

‘For a woman of her age the way ruby wax speaks is disgusting. Very unlady like and I felt embarrassed having my 11 year old watch that #imaceleb @ofcom.’

‘Not Ruby giving Ginge her lucky pants #imaceleb.’

‘Ruby take your knickers back man smh.’

However some found it funny.

‘Ruby giving Ginge her lucky pants was hilarious.’

‘I never thought in 2025 I would be listening to angry ginge talking about Ruby wax’s knickers but here we are.’

Ruby and AngryGinge have developed a close relationship since entering the jungle.

During Tuesday’s instalment of the show, the gamer opened up about the brutal way his ex-girlfriend broke up with him while chatting with the mental health campaigner.

Ruby remarked how she didn’t think Ginge was the romantic type.

However, the star – whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle – revealed the huge gesture he made when he made the relationship official.

Ginge recalled how he had ‘rose petals, from the front door all the way up the stairs and then it opened to my room, there’s a teddy bear, there’s a rose and then I officially asked her to be my girlfriend.’

Unfortunately, the relationship came to a brutal end as Ginge shared his ex broke up with him by text while he was livestreaming.

Ruby's move caused a lot of reaction on X, formerly known as Twitter, earlier this week - with one saying  it was 'disgusting'

He added: ‘I had to carry on for six more hours.’

The pair also discussed Ginge’s mindset, after he’d had a ‘down day’ on Monday due to homesickness and his campmates telling him they weren’t impressed by fooling them into believing he performed poorly at the Bushtucker Trial.

Confirming he was in a better mood, Ginge said: ‘Much better, yesterday I was just terrible…’

‘I’ve gone ten days without seeing my mum for example but I’ve always been able to ring her and text her, so not being able to communicate at all, it all gets on top of you.’
