GINO D’Acampo has pulled his £4.2million mansion off the market – despite the shamed TV star’s plans for a new life abroad.

The Sun exclusively revealed the shamed Italian chef was launching “multiple work projects” in Australia as opportunities in the UK dried up.

Last February, ITV cut ties with with the former This Morning favourite following allegations of inappropriate behaviour while making shows.

Five months later, we told how Gino was primed to open two new restaurants and a culinary tech platform Down Under.

And his bid to kickstart operations across the globe saw him put his four-storey Hertfordshire townhouse on the market for £4m.

But the 49-year-old has since removed the listing for the seven-bedroom property, which was on sale with high-end estate agents Savills.

Gino was always set to keep a base in the country, with his wife of 22 years, Jessica, and their three children due to remain here in the UK.

But a source told The Sun last July: “He’s been inundated with offers Down Under following a really successful tour there.

“He spent some time in Australia a few years ago, and loved it.

“He still has a large social media following and plans to capitalise on that in the next stage of his career.”

Gino was understood to be looking at properties in Melbourne, which he visited during his 2019 Aussie Escapes tour.

He also won ITV’s I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here in the Australian jungle in 2009.

D’Acampo recently visited Toronto and Montreal to plug his latest show An Italian In Canada.

But scandal-hit Gino has seen largely his TV career implode following allegations of lewd and inappropriate behaviour on set.

D’Acampo was accused of “sexually inappropriate” and “intimidating” behaviours as dozens came forward with complaints early last year.

ITV subsequently sacked D’Acampo, cut all ties and said they had “no plans to work with him again”.

An investigation found there were multiple claims of “unacceptable,” “distressing” and “horrendous” treatment over more than 12 years.

His legal team at the time said Gino “emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations”.

He was also edged out of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after refusing to sign a morality clause.

Last December, he was hit with fresh allegations of bullying and intimidation, days after his TV return — claims he also denies.

ITV said that since their initial investigation was launched, they had not commissioned any further shows featuring D’Acampo.

Gino has firmly denied all the allegations against him.

Meanwhile, his restaurant empire racked up debts of £7.3million and went into administration before a buyer was found.

The Upmarket Leisure chain of businesses was saved from closure in a £5million buyout – but has since failed to repay a £4.2million HMRC debt.

Administrators for the firm say it is unable to pay the money back.

The Sun has approached Gino’s representatives for comment.
