A BBC Star has confirmed that his hit show is returning for a second series and that it’s even more brutal than ever before.

The footballer-turned-reality star who has become famed for shows including Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and Ex On The Beach updated his fans on social media.

TV star Ashley Cain took to Instagram and posted a video clip which he captioned: “‘Into The Danger Zone’ series 2 underway. Ps a little heart to heart from me that I hope will help you through your day.”

In the video Ashley stated: “I’ve been away filming series 2 of The Danger Zone.

“Trust me on this one, this is by far the craziest location yet. It’s been a complete eye opener.”

The reality star then explained that he was taking a break from the tough environment because it takes a toil.

But that he understood that he is lucky to be able to go home and see his two boys who is his reason for being great.

He added: “I also realise I am safe because my little girl was always be watching over me.

“I can’t wait for you to see this series. I can’t wait for it to be an eye-opener to so many people.

“I want to showcase to the world some of the environments that people have to live in and some of things people truly have to go through to just exist.

“I think its gonna be worthwhile experience.”

Ashley went on to explain he had spent years and years of not being proud of himself but he wants to be a great person and give more than he can take.

He added: “God Bless you all.”

Fans flocked to the comments section and one wrote: “So proud of you Ashley for who you are and what you stand for…LETS GO CHAMP.!!”

A second said: “You are such an incredible inspirational human, love all that you do.”

A third stated: “Oh my goodness , can’t wait to see !”

While a fourth said: “Can’t wait! Absolutely loved your last series and love following you and your journey!”

A fifth added: “Loved the first series. I think you did a great job and it was really interesting to watch. I went to Stockholm 10 years ago and couldn’t believe it was the same place.”

Into the Danger Zone sees Ashley investigate the world’s most extreme danger zones.

The fearless star takes viewers deep into hostile environments to show what’s happening to expose the reality of life within them.

In the last series he visited Rio, South Africa, Marseille, Columbia, Sweden and the Philippines.

Ashley’s daughter tragically passed away aged eight months in 2021. He shared his baby with his ex Safiyya Vorajee.

The little girl diagnosed just two months after her birth and the parents were left devastated after doctors found more tumours and ran out of options to save the baby girl, who was battling a rare form of the disease.

For weeks, doctors said the brave baby girl could only have “days to live”, but Ashley and Safiyya refused to give up hope.

Yet despite all the love and hope in the world the brave couple’s sweet baby was cruelly snatched away in the first year of her life.

Since then, the star has battled a number of endurance challenges in Azaylia’s name – keeping her at the heart of family life.
