LOVE Island is descending into chaos in the lead up to next week’s finale.

And insiders told The Sun that bombshells planned to arrive at the Love Island All Stars villa over the coming days have been dropping out because the atmosphere has become so explosive.

During this year’s series of the hit ITV2 show, which has been streamed online over 70 million times to date, tensions between Belle Hassan and Lucinda Stafford have been boiling over.

And insiders said the jaw-dropping scenes have led to some stars, who are being kept on standby, getting cold feet.

A source said: “Love Island All Stars is explosive this season – and there’s only two women getting all the headlines.

“It’s hard for last minute bombshells to enter that kind of chaos.

“They’re not going to stand a chance really getting a connection with someone so close to the end, and it’s unlikely they will get any real airtime with all of this kick off between Belle and Lucinda.

“The bombshells who have been on standby to go in are starting to pull out.

“One was asked to fly to South Africa to go into the villa but turned it down because of all the drama.

“It’s a headache for ITV but luckily, they have so many on standby they do have options.

“But it’s difficult when the people they want to send in have turned around and refused.”

Earlier this week, 200 fans complained to Ofcom after an almighty row broke out among the islanders.

On Wednesday night’s episode, Belle stormed out following a bellowing row after Lucinda stole Sean Stone from under her nose.

Lucinda was then accused of double standards, as she made a move on Scott van-der-Sluis – despite him being close to Leanne Amaning.

Joey Essex’s ex Jessy Potts then got in on the action and turned on Lucinda, accusing her of using a “baby voice” and “acting dumb”.

Fans of the show took to social media to urge Love Island bosses to step in for Lucinda, alleging she was being “picked on” by the other women in the villa.

Lucinda’s mother also hit out and defended her daughter, saying: “That was a disgusting piece of TV.

“The production team should be ashamed of themselves. Lucinda didn’t deserve to be violated like that. Disgusting. What a horrid crowd of people.”

“The hate she’s receiving is not okay on any level. Please remember that she will be coming out of the villa and seeing these comments, just like her family and friends are too.

“Words have impact, and this kind of negativity is unkind and damaging. Let’s remember to be kind. Not only to Lucinda, but to everyone.”
