A Place in the Sun: Couple talk about family bereavement

A Place in the Sun star Jasmine Harman has been supported by fans as she shared a “big” update.
The Channel 4 presenter took to Instagram on Monday (November 24) to mark her 50th birthday after receiving photos from her party earlier this month.
Jasmine posted several images of herself celebrating with her friends and family, including her husband Jon Boast and their two children Joy and Albion.
“50 never felt so good. Just received the photos from the photographer and oh my goodness, what a night! Some big dance moves,” the caption began.
“A HUGE thank you to all of my friends and family who came from near and far to celebrate half a century with me. A weekend I’ll never forget. Love you all.”

Jasmine concluded: “Thanks to these guys too for making it extra special!”

Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their well wishes, with one person writing: “Aww absolutely brilliant. Fabulous. Happy happy birthday beautiful. Loved your renovation show. Enjoy and have a happy healthy time in your gorgeous home.”
Another added: “Happy Birthday!! You certainly don’t look 50, but embrace it!! Loved the show,” while a third said: “Looks amazing! Hope you had the best birthday Jasmine, missing your programme.”
A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “Beautiful pic of you all. Glad you had a fabulous birthday Jasmine. So enjoyed your renovation programme. Missing it so much,” with another similarly sharing: “Lovely photos good luck to you all.”

Jasmine was first selected to co-present A Place in the Sun back in 2004, and has since filmed more than 200 episodes worldwide, recording more installments than any other presenter of the show.
She’s also fronted BBC One documentary, My Hoarder Mum and Me, as well as Britain’s Biggest Hoarders, Britain’s Compulsive Shoppers, The Truth About Your Teeth and Collectaholics.
Jasmine’s house-hunting skills proved helpful when she was looking for her own family home in Spain.
In 2023, the star’s family relocated from London to Estepona on Spain’s Costa del Sol, with the home’s renovation being documented for the Channel 4 series, Jasmine Harman’s Renovation in the Sun, which aired earlier this year.
