Now, she has divulged on their honeymoon to the Maldives, saying it wasn’t not as idyllic as it seemed on screen – and admitting she felt ‘dirty’ while on the show.
Appearing on the Not There Yet Project podcast, Holly said: “People must watch it and think, ‘Oh my god, you’ve gone to the Maldives’, hun, it ain’t all that, I’d have never paid all that money to go there. Because you’re on this random island-“.
Host Bethany Wright then interjected to ask if it was quite lonely, as Holly replied: “Absolutely! I’d known him, like, not even 24 hours and I was sat on a 12 hour flight with him.
“It was bats*** crazy.”

The star continued that the show itself wasn’t easy, saying: “And, I don’t want to sound like I’m s****ing the show off, but to protect my own reasons around why my own mental health was bad afterwards.
“I actually look back now and it’s like you’re being sold to a show to marry a man and sleep in a bed with a man that you don’t know. It makes you feel dirty.”
Holly is currently expecting twins with her new boyfriend Aaron Summers, whom she began dating after the show.
The pair began dating in 2025, after Holly’s relationship with her on-screen husband fell apart during the show.
Holly is already a mum of two from prior relationships – welcoming son Dec aged sixteen and a daughter named Daisy four years later.
Aaron, meanwhile is a father-of-three to a daughter and a son from two previous relationships – plus a third child who he welcomed while in the early stages of his relationship with Holly.
The reality star’s comments come as the eleventh series of MAFS is on hold as Channel 4 awaits the results of an external review into welfare following a string of accusations of rape and sexual assault by three former stars.
