The Harry & Meghan Money Mystery Deepens — One Detail Behind Their ‘Dream Life’ May Change Everything

With their relentless money-making apps, books, TV shows, websites and paid appearances raking in over £125 million in the last few years, you have to wonder where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s money all goes. But their latest example of pampering gives a stunning insight into their insatiable money pit – and proves that sometimes you could conclude the pair are simply for the birds.
Earlier this month we were given the bombshell news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were returning for an extended period back to the UK to live. They are rumoured to be settling in the celebrity enclave of the Cotswolds, near some superstar friends and also Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice and her family.
But although Harry, Meghan, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are settling down in the leafy corner of England with their dogs Mia and Pula, not all the Sussexes are flying over.
Mainly because not all the Sussexes can fly.
Back in their enormous Montecito mansion, in California, Harry and Meghan own a flock of 10 chickens rescued from a commercial factory farm.
The flock even featured on their Netflix show when TV chat show host Oprah Winfrey happened to pop round – I know, who would have thought they would publicise their good deed on a TV show?!
They live in a purpose-built building called ‘Archie’s Chick Inn’ but rather than be rehomed they will stay at their Montecito home with a set of staff to look after them while the Sussexes live their new life – possibly for years.
You wouldn’t drag your young kids, who maybe settled in pre-schools or nurseries in the USA, all the way to a new house and country unless you were planning an extended stay surely?

The 10 flightless birds also have silkie chickens Phil and Jill, known for their unusual plumage, for company.
A source close to Harry and Meghan recently said the couple’s UK return could be half or year or for years, with Archie and Lilibet already enrolled in a primary school.
So this is where their money goes, maintaining a staff while they relocate, and keeping their chickens ready for their one day possible return.
They really do boast an eggs-travagant lifestyle!
