A MAN has been arrested and charged after three women were allegedly sexually assaulted in a supermarket in Glasgow.

Police were called to Tesco Extra on Cobden Road, in the Springburn area of the city, yesterday evening.

The alarm was raised at around 4.50pm when officers received reports of three sexual assaults inside the shop.

Officers confirmed that a 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incidents.

He is set to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

A source told: “The three women are badly shaken up. One is in a terrible state.

“Police were heavily involved at the time.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.50pm on Monday, 29 December, 2025, we were called to a report of three women sexually assaulted within shop premises on Cobden Road, Glasgow.

“Officers attended, and a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.

“He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 30 December, 2025.
