Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke is appealing for financial assistance as he faces the threat of eviction from his home. The 73-year-old star has accumulated $59,100 (£43,875) in unpaid rent for his Los Angeles property and is urging supporters to contribute to a GoFundMe campaign titled Support Mickey to Prevent Eviction. The fundraising page states: “Mickey Rourke is currently facing a very difficult and urgent situation: he is at risk of being evicted from his home. Life doesn’t always move in a straight line, and despite everything Mickey has given through his work and his life, he is now dealing with a challenging financial moment that has put his housing at risk.
“The goal is to give Mickey some stability and peace of mind during a stressful time so he can stay in his home and have the space to get back on his feet. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.” Reports suggest Rourke’s monthly rent surged from $5,200 to $7,000, and in December he received a three-day eviction warning.

Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail – filed with Los Angeles Superior Court on 29th December 2025 – confirmed he was served the notice on 18th December. Plaintiff Eric T. Goldie alleges the Iron Man II actor owes $59,100 in outstanding rent.
Records show he began renting the three-bedroom property on 30th March, initially signing a tenancy agreement for $5,200 monthly.
The legal filing indicates the rent was increased to $7,000 during his second month of residence. The legal filing alleges that Rourke was absent from his residence when an individual attempted to serve him with the three-day notice, resulting in the document being affixed to the exterior of the premises.
Goldie is additionally seeking to terminate the tenancy agreement and recover his legal costs.

The Wrestler star acknowledged earlier this year that his career is “in the toilet” following past missteps, with his controversial reputation making it difficult to secure work. He also revealed he joined UK reality programme Celebrity Big Brother because he couldn’t bear the thought of shooting “a really bad independent movie”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper in April, he said: “I’ve made mistakes, many. I have nobody to blame for my ship sinking except myself. My career is in the toilet and I’m not getting A-list movies. I’d like to be back where I can work on movies that have integrity.
“There’s directors I want to work with and have them not be afraid of me and trust me for who I am today, not for the reputation I have.
“But once it goes past a certain point, I’ve got a short fuse – there’s no turning back. It’s on.”
He explained that with CBB, it was a decision between the reality programme “or a really bad independent movie”.
Nevertheless, he was removed from the show’s house by producers due to his “unacceptable behaviour”.
JoJo Siwa had accused him of “homophobic” language after hearing him declare he would “vote the lesbian out real quick”. Chris Hughes, who later began a relationship with the former Dance Moms star after his departure from the house, defended her.
Rourke was subsequently removed due to what was characterised as “threatening and aggressive” behaviour towards him. A CBB spokesperson stated at the time: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”
