NSW Police have launched an urgent appeal for public assistance to locate 12-year-old Maddison Felsch, who went missing from Marayong in Sydney’s north-west on Christmas Eve, leaving her family and community deeply worried over the festive period.

Maddison was last seen in the Marayong area around 8:30pm on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Riverstone Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Maddison’s welfare due to her young age. She is described as Caucasian, approximately 150-160cm tall, with a slim build and long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing casual clothing, though specific details have not been released.

Maddison is known to frequent several areas across Sydney, including Riverstone, The Hills, Parramatta, Mt Druitt, Blacktown, Rouse Hill, and even Coogee. Investigators believe she may be in the company of a woman in her 20s, adding urgency to the search.

A NSW Police spokesperson said: “This is a high-priority case, especially over the Christmas holidays when families should be together. We urge anyone who has seen Maddison or has information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.”

The disappearance has cast a shadow over the festive season for Maddison’s loved ones, who are described as “distraught” and pleading for her safe return. Community members in Marayong and surrounding suburbs have shared the appeal widely on social media, with hashtags like #FindMaddison trending locally.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Riverstone Police Station or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000. Sightings should be reported to triple zero (000) immediately.

As the search continues into its fourth day, authorities remain hopeful for a positive outcome, emphasising that no piece of information is too small.
