LOVE Island star Michael Griffths has claimed “it’s just a normal day” in Dubai as a fighter jet flies overhead.
Over 100,000 Brits have been left stuck in the United Arab Emirates following Iran’s missile strikes on the country after vowing revenge for Donald Trump and Israel’s blitz on the rogue nation.

As a result, flights have been cancelled to and from Dubai and it’s unclear when they’ll be up and running again.
The Foreign Office has urged Brits in the region to shelter in place.
However, Michael is carrying on with his day in the sunny capital as he sunbathed with his girlfriend, former EastEnders actress, Rukku Nahar.
He took to his Instagram stories to share a video of a fighter jet flying through the sky as he takes off his sunglasses to get a better look.
Michael expressed: “There it is,” as he points to the sky,” with Rukku asking: “Where?”
The camera then zoomed in as the military aircraft flew through the clouds at high speed.
He wrote over it: “A lot of false info being shared on socials, don’t believe everything people say…
“Just a normal day now,” the reality star concluded.
Series 5 star Michael isn’t the only Love Island alumni stuck in Dubai as series 4’s Laura Anderson is there with her baby girl Bonnie.
Laura had only just touched down in the UAE with Bonnie on Friday.
The mum posted snaps with her daughter at Glasgow Airport before sharing footage of their hotel room and pool, writing: “Welcome to Dubai”.
Just hours later, she uploaded a stark white slide reading: “Horrendous situation, Bonnie and I are fine,” followed by a white heart emoji.
She later shared a video warning followers about the danger of falling shrapnel as explosions echoed across the city.
In a further update, she wrote: “Good night, but a different morning. Hoping to get home soon. Bonnie doesn’t like ‘fireworks’.

“All my love and prayers to everyone around the world suffering.”
Dubai International Airport confirmed flights have been halted amid the escalating conflict.
Emirates said: “Due to multiple regional airspace closures, Emirates has temporarily suspended operations to and from Dubai.”
Flydubai has also suspended services.
Laura also shared an Emirates notice on her Instagram story confirming flights had been cancelled due to airspace closures.
Authorities in the UAE have said accommodation, meals and rebooking costs will be covered for around 20,200 passengers stranded by the shutdown.
A leading hotel in the city was also engulfed in flames after being struck.
Thick black smoke poured across Dubai’s skyline when the luxury Fairmont The Palm was hit, leaving four people injured.
A number of other British stars have been caught up in the chaos in the UAE including Love Island’s Arabella Chi, Vicky Pattison and her husband Ercan Ramadan and Geordie Shore’s Sam Gowland.
Luisa Zissman, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, Petra Ecclestone and Love Island’s Ella Barnes have also been sharing what’s been going on in Dubai on their social media pages.
