Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal left fans fearing she would be leaving the dancefloor after the final episode of the BBC programme. The dancer, 31, only joined the show four years ago. However, a recent post forced Jowita to reassure fans she is not quitting Strictly.

It was an emotional night after Karen Carney and Carlos Gu were crowned Strictly champions and lifted the Glitterball Trophy on Saturday night. In addition, the Strictly team bid farewell to co-hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who said their goodbyes to the show they’ve hosted together for over a decade.

Many of the dancers followed suit, sharing their fond memories to the 2025 series online. But it was Jowita’s post that raised eyebrows, leaving them speculating whether she’s leaving the show for good.

In an Instagram story, she posed alongside her 2025 celebrity dance partner Ross King.

She penned: “Last dance partner on strictly floor x.”

Fans flocked to the comment section, as one wrote: “Jowita just shared this! Is this her last year?”

Another queried: “I wondered also. I hope not she is my fav female pro.”

A third added: “I think its just a language barrier thing, it would be a weird way to announce something like that lol”.(sic)

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Jowita cleared up the rumours as she shut down claims she’s leaving the series.

Posting a group photo of the Strictly team, she penned: “So grateful for being a part of the best show on tv.

“And just to clarify my last post it was about my last dance with ross, not me leaving the show. Hopefully far from my last dance on that dance floor.”

Jowita first joined Strictly in the summer of 2021, making her debut as one of four new dancers at the time.

The Polish-born dancer famously went on to win the show in her first year with partner Hamza Yassin in 2022.
