The “Lilo & Stich” menace shut Goldberg into the contraption as the studio audience watched while wearing Mickey Mouse ears.

Goldberg sealed her destiny with Stitch upon welcoming viewers back to the show after a commercial break, with the camera pointing out toward the studio audience — the same ones she, moments earlier, polled on their vaccine status — who were now all wearing Mickey Mouse ears.

The 69-year-old prepared for the ad segment (Disney is the parent company of The View‘s network, ABC) by introducing Stitch to the camera.

“Hey now, it’s time for our magical Hawaii giveaway. One lucky studio audience member is going to win a trip to the Aulani: A Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii,” Goldberg said, before Stitch came out and presented Goldberg and cohost Sara Haines with a pair of leis.

“Hi! Oh, honey!” Goldberg exclaimed as the mascot placed a lei on her neck.

Without missing a beat, Stitch and Haines took Goldberg toward the wind machine.

“Now, let’s see who’s winning this trip!” Haines exclaimed, before explaining the delicate process of shutting a Hollywood icon into a tube of terror.

“Whoopi is going to get into the sacred wind booth,” Haines said, with Stitch eagerly locking her in.

Upon the closing of the legendary hatch, a virtual hurricane blasted Goldberg inside the contraption, with Stitch gleefully running around its perimeter as Goldberg fished for a card holding the lucky number of one audience member who would ultimately win the trip.

When she emerged, Goldberg held the number 44 in her hand, with an excited audience member (likely one of the vaccinated attendees, as per the results of Goldberg’s prior health checkup) jumping up to claim her prize.

Believe it or not, Stitch is not the first Disney character to shut Goldberg into the chaos chamber. Both Mickey and Minnie Mouse have visited The View in the past, each emerging with a tale more harrowing than the last — particularly when Mickey’s most recent wind machine plot led to the loss (and subsequent recovery) of Goldberg’s ring.
