Authorities are continuing their desperate search for a man who has been missing for days after vanishing in waters just off the NSW south coast.

A desperate multi-agency search has resumed for a missing man who vanished in the waters off a regional town on the NSW south coast.

Emergency services rushed to Pacificana Drive in Sussex Inlet, near Jervis Bay, about 6.30pm on Sunday.

Police located a 29-year-old woman who required medical treatment.

She has been transported to Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital in a stable condition.

The woman had been with a 25-year-old man before emergency services arrived, but he was not found on Sunday.

A NSW police spokeswoman said the search for the man resumed on Monday morning.

“(The) search resumed at 7am,” she said.

Officers are being assisted in their efforts by Surf Life Saving and Marine Rescue NSW.

The search area spans from Wreck Bay to Bendalong Point.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding the man’s whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
