Love Island’s Samraj Has a Famous Uncle — And His Family’s Reaction to the Villa Has Fans Talking
LOVE Island star Samraj Toor’s famous uncle has broken his silence on his telly appearance as he revealed he was the reason behind it.
Samraj entered the villa on day one of the famous ITV2 show back in June and he left just days before the final alongside Mica Harris, 21.

But now, his singer-songwriter uncle Jazzy B has shared his thoughts on Samraj’s villa stay as he admitted his mum didn’t want him to go on the show.
Appearing on BBC Radio Asian Network, Jazzy B said: “Samraj is actually one of my best friend’s son. Beautiful guy, man. Such a humble kid.
“I mean, I knew him when he was a baby. Now, he’s on Love Island and you know, living his life out there.
“I know a lot of people that are dissing it too but that’s part of the package. I already told him, ‘Hey, you wanna live your dreams, you’re going to hear things from people.’”
He continued: “I was talking to his mum, she wasn’t happy about it [him going on the show], she’s a desi girl, a proper desi girl. ‘Oh, Jazzy I don’t like it…’”
“Hey, let him live his dream man, you know what I mean. Don’t hold the kids back,” added Jazzy B.
“But I go, ‘Yo, girl, chill. Let the boy live.”
He then confessed Samraj wouldn’t have been in the villa if he didn’t give his mum a “talking to.”

Jazzy B, real name Jaswinder Singh Bains, has bagged 13 Punjabi Music Awards and is best known for his tunes Dil Luteya and Bhangra.
Samraj recently returned to the UK following his holiday to Barbados with Mica.
The loved-up pair were spotted partying together at a carnival, sipping cocktails by the pool and strolling across the beach.
Samraj, 25, and Mica have come on in leaps and bounds since they first entered the villa, where they coupled up on the first day but she felt it was more of a friendship vibe.
He later recoupled with Priya and attempted to build a connection before reuniting with Mica.
After Casa Amor, Mica realised that she missed Samraj and wanted to pursue romantic connection.
They then went from strength-to-strength in the Majorcan villa, even saying “I love you,” before they were axed from the show.
