Keleigh said she “almost passed out” after opening the sentimental gift from her husband 11 months after the fires destroyed their home

There was a very special gift waiting for Keleigh Teller under the Christmas tree.

At the start of this year, the model-actress, 33, and her husband, Miles Teller, lost their Pacific Palisades home in the Los Angeles wildfires. The blaze that took their property also destroyed many of their belongings, including Keleigh’s wedding gown.

This year for Christmas, Miles, 38, gifted her a replica of the dress — and Keleigh shared her reaction to the sentimental present on TikTok.

In the video, posted on Friday, Dec. 26, Keleigh wore a Santa hat and festive pajamas while opening a present in a large red box. Miles — who can be seen wearing a matching hat in a mirror — filmed and watched as his wife’s face lit up as she pulled a zipped garment bag out of the box, and began to realize what he put inside.

“Is this my wedding dress?” Keleigh asked as Miles, behind the camera, replied, “Yeah.”

The model’s mouth remained open as she said, “Oh my god,” and began unzipping the bag to see the white gown inside. She echoed her shock again and started to cry as she looked at the dress.

The one-minute TikTok ends with Keleigh still crying as she continued to gaze at the wedding gown.

“Miles had my wedding dress that burned in the fire remade 🥹🎄❤️ so happy 😭,” she captioned the video. “Merry Christmas everyone! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏.”

The gesture — and the couple — garnered sweet reactions in the comments section, with top replies calling the gift “deeply romantic,” as well as “thoughtful and kind.” Another top comment read, “And people ask me why I love Miles Teller so much 🥹❤️.”

Keleigh agreed, calling the actor “the sweetest husband” in an Instagram Stories post shared after the emotional unwrapping video. In another post, she added that she “almost passed out” after unboxing it, and “had to sit.”

Keleigh wore the Monique Lhuillier dress to tie the knot with Miles, who does not have any social media accounts, in Hawaii on Sept. 1, 2019, two years after he proposed to her in 2017. (They first met at a party in 2013.)

While speaking with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of his latest movie, the romantic comedy Eternity, in November, Miles recalled saying “I do” to his wife of six years.

“She’s the best, man,” the actor told PEOPLE of Keleigh, when asked if their relationship inspired his performance in the rom-com. “It’s when we said ‘I do’ to each other, we very much envisioned being with each other forever, for eternity.”

“She really grounds everything in my life in such a beautiful way,” added Miles. “She’s incredibly pure-hearted.”
