Sam Hunt and his wife Hannah Lee Fowler quietly welcomed their third child in late May of 2025, according to a social media post by Cedartown First Methodist Church in Georgia.

Cedartown First Methodist Church shared a photo of Hunt and Fowler’s new bundle of joy, revealing that they had a boy on May 21, 2025. According to the graphic, which features an adorable first photo of their baby boy, the couple named their third child, Weyman Allen Hunt. Weyman Allen Hunt weighed 8lbs, 6 ounces at the time of birth.

Weyman Allen Hunt joins big sister, Lucy Louise, who was born in May of 2022, and big brother Lowry Lee, who arrived in October of 2023.

Hunt first announced that his wife was pregnant with their third child while chatting with Wayne D on iHeartRadio ahead of the 58th CMA Awards in November of 2024.

“Well, I did in the heat of the touring season, I started booking a bunch of these hunting trips, this fall, bird hunting trips, and I found out about two months ago that we’ve got a baby on the way. So Hannah started feeling really sick, and so I was gone for three or four days at a time. She’s at home with two kids, sick, so I’m having to rearrange some of my plans, but she’s still going to let me…not let me. I’m still going to get out and do a couple abbreviated versions of them,” Hunt explained at the time.

He also shared that he was “obsessed” with living the dad life. “I just feel very blessed to have another one on the way,” he added.

In a separate interview with Katie Neal on Audacy’s Katie & Company, Sam Hunt did reveal that his wife was due in May of 2025. “It’s about to get real… I’m elated, can’t wait!” Hunt gushed before sharing that he is unsure if his other children understand despite conversations. “We talk about [it]. I say, Mama has a baby on the way, and we’ll point to her belly, and she says, ‘No, I have a baby on the way,’” Hunt continued.

While chatting with his record label, Hunt also opened up about fatherhood and how it’s changed his life.

“I think what I have enjoyed most about fatherhood is the sense of purpose,” Hunt previously said in a statement. “It’s deep, and it’s something I couldn’t have imagined until I experienced it. It gives such meaning to all, all that I’m doing in life, all the little mundane things that I might have done by myself before having kids, now have all this weight and meaning when I do them with my children. I’ve got my little girl who’s coming up on two years old who is growing and changing every day, and I’m having a lot of fun with her. I have my first son, just a few months ago, who is growing fast and a lot of fun.”

“Lucy, Lucy the Ouise (Wheeze) — we call her Ouisy (Wheezy) — Ouisy’s having a big time with her little brother, and one kid feels like a family, but two kids now feels like a big family,” he added while talking about his daughter. “And it’s a lot of responsibility, but I feel like I’m walking in God’s will now, more so than I ever have at any point in my life. So, I’m just eternally grateful for these little miracles and smelling the roses and soaking it in every day.”
