THE hunt for a reportedly pregnant woman who was missing took a bizarre turn after it was discovered the woman was never actually pregnant.

Jordan Clayborn, 26, went missing on Thursday after her family members said she was 41 weeks pregnant and failed to show up to a doctor’s appointment for a scheduled C-section.

The woman, who reportedly went missing in Oklahoma City, was later found safe the same day, when it was revealed that she was never actually pregnant.

Jordan’s sister, Avery, first reported her missing just two hours before she was allegedly meant to be delivering her baby.

“I talked to her the night before, and she was happy,” Avery told CBS affiliate KWTV.

“She was laughing.

“She told me she would see me the next day, and everything seemed fine.”

The Oklahoma City Metro Star Search and Rescue Team (OKCM) asked locals to be on the lookout for Jordan after she went missing on Thursday.

“She left to get a few last-minute items before going to the hospital and never returned home,” OKCM said.

Her family told KOCO that she left the father of her child’s home, telling him she would be back before her induction.

“Police reports have been filed. Her bf/fiancée is helping & worried also. We are working with local PD & in the process of involving local media,” Jordan’s mom, Jennifer Milligan Clayborn, wrote on Threads.

“I’ve been thru a lot of s**t, but FML, if this isn’t the worst,” she said. “I need my daughter & grandson home now.”

“The waiting is awful.”

Jordan was spotted leaving the home around 10 am and was later found safe at her friend’s home.

Detectives discovered that she never actually made an appointment at Lakeside Hospital as her family claimed she did.

Avery called the whole disappearance a “confusing situation.”

“The last thing she told me was that I would see her after she had the baby,” Avery said.

“I was going to go visit her, and she said she loved me.”
