The mother of a missing New York teenager is making a desperate, emotional plea for his safe return as fears intensify that he may have traveled to meet someone he encountered on the online gaming platform Roblox.
The 15-year-old boy, who vanished after being traced from Long Island into Manhattan and Brooklyn, has not been seen in days. Investigators say they have received no confirmed sightings since his movements were last detected in the city, leaving family members overwhelmed by uncertainty and terrified by the silence.

His mother, visibly shaken and exhausted, has begged the public to come forward with any information — no matter how small — that could help locate her son. “Please just tell us he’s safe,” she said, describing the ongoing wait for answers as “unbearable.” She emphasized that her son’s disappearance is completely out of character and that she fears he may have trusted someone online who did not have good intentions.
According to investigators, the teen left Long Island before traveling to Manhattan, where surveillance traced him into Lower Manhattan and later into Brooklyn. Authorities have not released exact timestamps or details about how they tracked his movements, but they confirm that the trail has gone cold since then.
Police say they are treating the disappearance as an active investigation and are examining all possible scenarios, including whether the teen may have arranged to meet someone from Roblox — a platform widely used by children and teens. While investigators have not publicly confirmed any online communication linked to his disappearance, the possibility remains under active review.
Family members say they are growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of information. The teen’s mother has described sleepless nights, constant fear, and the emotional toll of waiting without any new developments. “Every hour feels like a week,” she said. “We just need to know he’s okay.”
She also urged anyone who may have seen her son in Manhattan or Brooklyn to contact authorities immediately. Flyers and social media posts continue to circulate widely as community members try to help.
Roblox has released a statement regarding the case, saying it found no evidence of off-platform communication or shared personal information. However, the family has not publicly responded to the platform’s claims and continues to focus on locating their missing son.
Authorities have not identified any suspects or persons of interest. They say the investigation is ongoing and that they are reviewing surveillance footage, digital records, and tips from the public.
As the search continues, the teen’s mother says her message remains simple: “If someone knows where he is — please, just let us know he’s safe.”
