Netflix’s hit legal drama, The Lincoln Lawyer, returned to screens this week with its long-awaited fourth season, and viewers have wasted no time getting stuck into the new series.
Season four, which comes over a year after the last instalment, sees Manuel Garcia-Rulfo reprise his role as LA defence attorney Mickey Haller, who runs a practice out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car.
In the new episodes, which pick up after season three’s dramatic finale, the stakes are higher than ever, as this time, Mickey is the client. The dedicated lawyer fights for his freedom and reputation after being accused of the murder of a former client.
With its entertaining blend of complex legal cases, compelling, character-driven drama, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s charismatic portrayal of Mickey Haller, it’s easy to see why The Lincoln Lawyer is a big hit with Netflix viewers and boasts a 90 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes. What have viewers said about the show?
It’s safe to say that viewers are loving the new season, with many staying up all night to binge-watch all ten episodes.
One person penned on X: “I didn’t sleep last night and I binge watched all ten episodes of #thelincolnlawyer s4,” while another added: “This show is gonna have me up all night!”
A third fan wrote: “Did I just binge-watch the whole season 4 of #TheLincolnLawyer? on a work-night? Yes,” while another added: “New season of The Lincoln Lawyer is out and my weekend plans are officially cancelled.”

What is The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 about?
Based on the bestselling novel series by author Michael Connelly, season four is inspired by the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence.
In the new season, Mickey faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales.
The synopsis continues: “To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.”
