I’m A Celebrity star Tom Read Wilson has revealed that he’s joining a popular ITV show as he made a ‘taking charge’ admission on live TV.

The Celebs Go Dating receptionist was recently seen taking part on the Ant and Dec reality show I’m A Celebrity. Arriving in Australia several episodes in with Vogue Williams, Tom immediately became a fan favourite campmate.

Fans of the programme became obsessed with not only Tom’s unique posh accent, but adored his friendship with American comedian Ruby Wax. Tom was consistently seen encouraging his campmates even when facing bushtucker trials.

In the end, Tom managed to finish in second place after just under three weeks in the camp. Viewers crowned Manchester streamer Angry Ginge the 2025 king of the jungle in a final for the ages.

Following the end of I’m A Celebrity 2025, many fans were left wondering what Tom would do next in his career. Thankfully, he provided an exciting update on Monday afternoon (January 4).

Appearing on the first Loose Women of 2026, which had no live audience, Tom revealed to Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and his former campmate Kelly Brook that he will host a new item on ITV’s This Morning this new year.

Titled ‘Find The Right Words’, the segment will see Tom putting pen to paper and using his much-admired vocabulary to help viewers with any occasions they may be struggling to say the appropriate thing about.

Tom said: “It’s such a lovely notion, we’re asking people to write in… Because you know these big events in life, whether they be proposals or family functions or anniversaries, and you’ve got a lot to say and you know what you want to say, but sometimes the ‘how to say it’ becomes difficult because it’s so steeped in emotion and excitement.

“So I’m sort of taking charge of a bit of the how… Becoming the scribe and converting it into a sonnet, or a poem or a speech.

“This Morning are being like a fairy godmother and they’re providing the most beautiful settings and all the bells and whistles!”

Christine told viewers: “If you have a special someone that you would like to surprise and say a special something to and you want Tom’s help, no better person clearly, you can email: [email protected] and you’ll need to do it by the end of this week.”

Meanwhile, Tom also reminisced on his I’m A Celebrity experience with fellow campmate Kelly and shared a sweet anecdote from the jungle.

“I had a miner bird and I taught it a tune and I don’t think anyone bar you [Kelly] believed me and then the most skeptical person of all, Ginge, heard it and said, ‘That’s the tune that you whistle’,” he recalled.

Kelly continued: “It used to whistle back to him every morning and they used to sing to each other, it was fascinating.”
