Mel and Luke failed to form a romantic connection and lacked chemistry during their honeymoon.

Things went from bad to worse during the dinner party, as Mel laughed with her female co-stars but failed to show affection to husband Luke.

“You’ve actually put up a full block, you’re like, ‘Don’t breathe on me’,” said one of the other brides about Mel’s relationship with Luke.

Agreeing, she replied: “It’s cement.”

Laughing, she was later seen declaring at the table: “Ahh, help me! I still feel single,” while Luke sat just inches away.

Meanwhile, Luke told the camera: “You can’t be positive forever, especially when you see a lot of the other couples getting along really well.

“You can’t keep going if nothing changes.”

He then said: “It gets to a time where it’s like, just, flogging a dead horse.”

The comments made by Mel at the dinner party riled viewers and many took to X to share their thoughts.

One fan said: “It’s fair enough if Mel doesn’t fancy Luke and isn’t feeling it but there’s no need for the rudeness”.
