THE father of Celeste Rivas has broken his silence on the arrest of singer D4vd after his missing daughter’s body was found in his Tesla.

Celeste’s dismembered body was found in an abandoned Tesla registered to the Houston-born singer at a Hollywood tow yard on September 8, 2025, a day after which would have been her 15th birthday.
The teenager was 13 when she was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California, in April 2024.
Police were called to the yard after a foul smell was reported coming from the vehicle.
Investigators found a cadaver bag containing a head and torso and a second bag had various other body parts inside, court documents show.

Celeste’s cause of death remains unknown, with officials fearing she may have been dead for several weeks.
The 21-year-old singer’s arrest comes after being under investigation for months since the teen’s remains were found in his vehicle.
“Thank God…justice for Celeste,” Jesus Rivas, said after he was told the news, the family’s attorney Patrick Steinfeld revealed in a statement.
D4vd, who has been in custody without bail over the weekend, has not yet been formally charged.
The Los Angeles District Attorney is planning to file criminal charges against him on Monday, sources have told TMZ.
If he is not charged by then, he will have to be released from custody.

Steinfeld revealed that if charged with Celeste’s murder, the teenager’s family will attend his arraignment and any press conferences as they fight to get justice.
D4vd’s attorneys, Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski, and Regina Peter, have vowed to “vigorously defend” his client’s innocence.
“Let us be clear – the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death,” they said in a joint statement.
“There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed.
“David has only been detained under suspicion.”
Meanwhile, The U.S. Sun has revealed how the delay in the singer’s arrest could mean his inner circle has flipped and will be forced to reveal the truth about dead teen.
