Meghan Markle’s former best friend Jessica Mulroney could reportedly be “biding her time” when it comes to spilling the beans on their fallout, sources have claimed. Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney, who was very close to Meghan and also her chief bridesmaid on her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, has reportedly been offered an advance of more than £742,000 ($1million) to publish her own bombshell account of their friendship.

While Ms Mulroney declared that she would “never” talk about her and the Duchess of Sussex’s friendship and their fallout, a source close to her suggested the stylist is wary of how her “powerful” friend would react if she ever wrote a memoir. They said: “Meghan still has a lot of eyes and ears in Canada. I suspect Jessica is not sure what to do [with what she knows]. Meghan is still pretty powerful and they have a lot of people in common.”

The source went on to tell the Daily Mail: “She is probably biding her time. She lost her career but to come after Meghan could be perceived as being petty and bitter and could potentially alienate her even more”.

Another source told the newspaper last week: “She [Ms Mulroney] was upset their friendship ended. Jessica knows where the bodies are buried. Meghan will be worried.”

The Duchess of Sussex used to be very close to Jessica, who played a prominent role in her life before and during her relationship with Prince Harry.

Her children also attended the Sussex wedding in 2018, with Jessica’s sons, Brian and John, serving as page boys and her daughter, Ivy, serving as a bridesmaid alongside Princess Charlotte.

The duo would regularly hang out while the duchess was in Toronto filming Suits.

She would often post various snaps of the former actress while the two were holidaying around the world and enjoying dates together.

The stylist, who is rumoured to have split up from her husvand of 16 years, Canadian host Ben Mulroney—the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney— even posted a snap of her and Meghan enjoying drinks just two days before the Sussexes’ bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey on March 7, 2021.

She captioned the post: “I don’t know that anyone has ever had to deal with the pressure, the politics, and the press like this woman.

“In the face of it all, I have never seen her waver from kindness, empathy, and love.”

But the two appeared to have a fallout after Jessica got embroiled in a “white privilege” row with Sasha Exeter, a black social media influencer, which took place in 2020.
