Meghan Markle has walked away with another award as her podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder, was recognised with a gold accolade at the 4th Annual Signal Awards.
The Duchess of Sussex was in New York last week with Prince Harry, where the couple were crowned “Humanitarians of the Year”.
The Signal Awards bills itself as recognising podcasts that “define culture” and lead with “charismatic voices”.
Confessions of a Female Founder triumphed in the “Business People & Entrepreneurs Shaping Culture” category whilst simultaneously capturing the “Listener’s Choice” honour.
Signal describes the award category as recognising: “Shows devoted to or hosted by notable business leaders and entrepreneurs who have had a unique and outsized impact on culture through their podcast.”
The podcast series, created by Lemonada Media, showcases conversations between Meghan and female business leaders and tycoons discussing their entrepreneurial journeys and obstacles.
Confessions debuted earlier this year and, despite its apparent success, the future of the show remains uncertain.
In June, the duchess confirmed she was putting the podcast on hold to “focus on my business”.

“I love that there’s so much excitement and desire for another season, but I need to focus on my business,” she added.
This marks the third podcasting award for the duchess, winning two previous accolades for her former show Archetypes, which examined labels that hold women back.
It won the People’s Choice Award in 2022 and the Gracie Award in 2023.
So far, Meghan has not addressed her latest accolade.

The latest gong comes as Meghan appears to be executing a deliberate strategic shift regarding a number of recent high-profile appearances.
“It’s Meghan 3.0. She’s on manoeuvres and looking for yet another relaunch,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
She and Prince Harry recently returned from New York, where they attended Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala.
While there, the couple were crowned as “Humanitarians of the Year” for their activism.

It proved to be a busy period for the Duchess of Sussex, who had just been attending Paris Fashion Week – her first visit to Europe in three years.
After New York, Meghan travelled to Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women” Summit in Washington, DC.
She shared a stage with Fortune’s Editor-in-Chief, Alyson Shontell, where they spoke candidly about her current projects and plans for the future.
This included an admission about taking on measures for “self-preservation”.
