Eugene Levy has opened up about his interview with Prince William for his hit Apple TV+ series, The Reluctant Traveler.
The Hollywood actor, 78, was joined by the Prince of Wales, 43, for the fourth episode of the new series of his travel show, which aired on Friday (October 3).
Prince William opened up about a range of topics, including his children, his wife Princess Kate’s health, his father King Charles’ cancer journey, and the future of the monarchy.
He also briefly mentioned his brother Prince Harry, 41, when discussing their upbringing. It comes amid the reported rift between them.

Prince William mentions Harry on The Reluctant Traveler
Mentioning his younger brother, Prince William told Eugene of his hopes for the future of the monarchy.
When asked about how he feels about his eldest child, Prince George, becoming king one day, William said: “Obviously, I want to create a world in which my son is proud of what we do, a world and a job that actually does impact people’s lives for the better.
I had no interest in asking him about that, because it was, you know, very delicate issue.
“That is caveated with, I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past, that Harry and I had to grow up in. I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation.”
However, Harry wasn’t mentioned elsewhere in the episode.

Now, Schitt’s Creek star Eugene has revealed why he didn’t ask William about his relationship with Harry.
Prince William’s relationship with his brother has been strained for some time now.
Harry’s tell-all interviews and claims in his memoir, Spare, have reportedly damaged relations further.
He also discussed his brother and father, King Charles, in his 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the interview, Harry claimed that his father and brother were “trapped” within the monarchy.

Why Eugene Levy didn’t ask Prince William about Harry in interview
Speaking to ITV, Eugene opened up about the questions he put to the future king.
ITV News’ royal editor Chris Ship asked Eugene: “Were you ever told you couldn’t ask questions, for example, about Harry and Meghan? Did you find that was just something you didn’t want to go near?”
Eugene replied: “I was not told I couldn’t ask anything, but it wasn’t really, you know, up to me, to get into that.
“I had no interest in asking him about that, because it was, you know, very delicate issue and certainly not up to me to get into it.”
