Danniella Westbrook has been pictured looking almost unrecognisable after undergoing another major round of facial reconstructive surgery in Dubai.

The former EastEnders star, 52, has been on a long and deeply personal journey to rebuild her face following historic drug abuse — with this latest procedure coming just eight months after a complex nose reconstruction last June.

In her most recent operation, Danniella underwent an extensive full face, neck and brow lift, alongside further lip and nose reconstruction. The surgery was carried out at Gargash Hospital in Dubai by her long-time surgeon, Dr Parviz Sadigh, who has overseen several of her previous procedures.

Prior to the operation, Danniella was photographed inside the hospital wearing a gown as she prepared for surgery. Several hours later, she was seen leaving the facility in a wheelchair, dressed in a pink outfit and wearing a tight facial compression garment wrapped around her head.
Her face appeared painfully swollen following the procedure — a common and expected outcome after such invasive surgery. A full recovery from a face, neck and chin lift can take up to nine months.

Last month, Danniella hinted at the upcoming operation in an emotional Instagram post, praising her surgeon and expressing optimism about her ongoing transformation.
She wrote: “A massive amount of love and respect to my amazing surgeon @parvizsadigh for all his hard work. Everyday I grow and glow xxxx. Thank you — and roll on Feb for the next operation.”

Danniella has previously spoken candidly about her struggles with addiction, revealing she became hooked on drugs at just 14 years old after finding fame as Sam Mitchell on EastEnders. She later admitted to spending £250,000 on cocaine and using up to five grams a day — even while pregnant with her son Kai.

Her addiction spanned much of the 1990s and early 2000s, with relapses in 2017 and again in 2021. The long-term abuse caused catastrophic damage to her face, leading to the collapse of her cheekbones and nose. At one point, her septum — the cartilage separating the nostrils — completely deteriorated.
Last summer, the actress underwent a highly complex operation to reconstruct her nose using cartilage taken from her rib. At the time, she said the surgery marked a turning point — both physically and professionally.

On the day of that procedure, she told fans: “Big day for me heading down for a very long surgery right now to rebuild my face. Then I can get back to work.”
By September, she proudly shared the healed results of her nose surgery and appeared visibly emotional as she revealed the transformation online.
