GB News guest Suzan Holder appeared on the show’s breakfast programme alongside presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ellie Costello and issued a brutal rant about Prince Harry, following a major update in his high-profile security detail court case. A potential U-turn has come around after the Duke of Sussex lost his court case against the royal and VIP executive committee (Ravec), in May last year, over their decision to remove his right to taxpayer-funded police protection after he left as a working member of the Royal Family.
However, the father-of-two wrote to the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in September after an incident with a stalker, who had previously made online threats, was able to get within a “stone’s throw” of the duke during his recent visit to London. Addressing this, Suzan said: “For all the things you might be able to say about Prince Harry, I do think he’s a bit of a wally, but he’s not a wally I’d like to see any harm come to, and he was born into a family that makes him a risk.”

She highlighted: “He has increased the risk by trashing the royal family, trashing the country, and talking about his kill rate in his book, Spare.
“All those things haven’t helped, but it still doesn’t negate the fact that he is a potential target, and I don’t think anybody, no Government would want his blood on their hands if anything happened to him.”
Ellie remarked: “It means that he will bring his children over to the UK and the King gets to see his grandchildren, then that’s a wonderful thing.”
Journalist, David Wooding, agreed: “Yes, of course. I think probably what will happen is that they’ll be doing it on an ad-hoc basis when he comes over.” To which Suzan chimed: “Yes, he will have to give 30 days’ notice.”
David continued: “I can see also the other side, which is why people are angry about him, he’s left Britain, he’s given up his royal duty, and he said some unpleasant things about the royal family, and there’s a lot of ill feeling towards him, which is probably feeding into this
Suzan agreed: “Yeah, he’s not doing the job, so why should he get one of the perks? But I have to say on this one, a security issue isn’t quite the perk; other things might be, so I think maybe that’s where that judgment has come in.”
During a visit to a children’s charity WellChild in September, Harry was granted police protection for one day, during which a female stalker was able to access the “secure zone”.
A subsequent trip to Imperial College London two days later saw the same woman attempt to approach the duke, but was allegedly only prevented from doing so by a member of his private security team.
With Harry’s security reinstated, this could pave the way for a reunion between the King and his California-raised grandchildren, Archie, six, and Lilibet, three, whom he has not seen since the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in February 2022.
