A man has been shot by police on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
It happened after police police and emergency crews were called to a traffic crash where it was reported an armed man had tried to leave.
An altercation occurred and the man was shot by police on Nambour Connection Rd in Woombye.
Paramedics said the man was rushed under lights and sirens to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
His condition remains unknown.
It is the second police shooting in Queensland in only two days after a 21-year-old man was shot dead by officers in Tingalpa during a mental health welfare check.
