THE Masked Singer has been given a revamp — with Jonathan Ross saying the panel has been left struggling to keep up.

Changes for the new ITV series, starting next weekend, include more reveals and masked bands for the first time.

Wossy, 65, said: “What’s fun is, if you like unmaskings — it has more unmaskings than ever before.

“There is so much more happening. We can barely keep up. Every week, we’ve barely got time to guess one and the mask’s off.

“Sometimes a character comes out and we don’t even know we have to unmask them. We can’t relax.”

Fellow panellist Davina McCall — underlining the new look by posing with curls in a black minidress — said: “It feels fresh and it feels new.

“We’ve got some new ideas and additions that keep us on our toes.”

As The Sun has revealed, the first two shows are headlined by No Trout, led by Goldfish, and the Antarctic Funkeys, with Emperor Penguin.

As well as guessing the identity of the regular masked characters, panellists Jonathan, Davina, 58, Mo Gilligan, 37, and Maya Jama, 31, will have to identify Goldfish and Emperor Penguin.

Characters this series include Teabag, Moth and Disc Jockey.

But Maya singled out Can Of Worms.

She said: “They rap and don’t miss a beat.”
