eghan Markle has given her say on those divorce rumours that have been haunting her and Prince Harry over the past few years.

The couple gave up their work for the royal family and made a new life for themselves in America in 2020. However, after numerous failed business ventures and moments of backlash, the couple have also been subject to hurtful rumours they are getting a divorce – and now Meghan Markle has proved those Prince Harry reports are not true.

She made the statement in a newsletter to her As Ever customers.

Meghan Markle’s message over Prince Harry divorce rumours

In a newsletter to her As Ever customers for New Year’s Eve, the duchess revealed plans for her and the duke.

In doing so, Meghan Markle’s defiantly pushed back against rumours she and Prince Harry are heading for divorce.

She wrote: “When the clock strikes midnight, we’ll be celebrating right along with you.

“Glasses raised, bottles of bubbly popping, and confetti in the air — only in our case, it’s Flower Sprinkles falling instead.

“A crisp pour of Brut, a joyful toast and a wish from us to you: may the year ahead be full of good company, memorable nights, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. Cheers, dears!”

The royal couldn’t help but make a reference to her brand’s flower sprinkles as well.

Duke and Duchess plagued by rumours about their relationship

Reports their rocky relationship is heading for a point of no return is not new news. However the Archewell couple themselves have never outright responded to the claims.

Closer reported this week that Harry and Markle have been having ‘intense’ talks over a potential UK return.

It’s said they have been clashing over possibly coming back to live in Britain, and it has been causing tension in their marriage.

A source claimed: “Their marriage is under strain — not because of a lack of love, but because of opposing fears.

“Harry is begging to come home. He talks about the UK constantly. He knows his father is ill and he feels time slipping away. For him, 2026 feels urgent.

“But Meghan associates the UK with unhappiness, fear and anxiety. She is equally determined not to be rushed back into a country she associates with pain, scrutiny and unfinished business. She doesn’t want to put herself back in that place and feels cross that it’s back on the table.”

It’s said Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s professional split has fuelled further divorce rumours as the pair are not seen at each other’s side as often as they once were. The duchess is immersing herself back into Hollywood and expanding her lifestyle brand As Ever. Whereas Harry has stood back from some of his duties, like the Sentebale charity.

Harry responded to split rumours

It’s not the first time the couple has reacted either. Prince Harry made a statement last year while attending the New York Times’ DealBook Summit.

He addressed speculation his marriage was heading for a breakup.

At the time, the duchess was in Beverly Hills at another event.

When asked about their frequent solo appearances, Prince Harry quipped: “Because you invited me, you should have known.”

He then joked about the divorce rumours surrounding their marriage, saying: “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?”

It came after Harry and Meghan previously claimed to not read the news about themselves, or use social media.
