Three members of the Royal Family have been brutally mocked in the British satirical television puppet show – Spitting Image. Jibes were made at Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, as well as Prince Harry.

In a clip uploaded to the show’s official Instagram platform, a puppet closely resembling Prince Andrew is reading a question sent in from a ‘fan’. He says: “Got an email here from [email protected]. He asks, ‘what is the average day-to-day like, for a sexy, non-sweaty, high-performance, pizza-loving prince like you?’”

He further adds: “Thanks for asking. Great question from me…from Andrew there..” before making references to the show ‘Homes under the Hammer’.

In an additional segment, a puppet resembling Prince Harry discusses a supposed new book by Sarah Ferguson, making reference to her association with the late Jeffrey Epstein.

Fans have commented on the clip on Instagram. One wrote: “You guys are going in as hard as South Park. Love it.”

Another commented: “The spitting image reboot is savage. Long may it continue.”

A third, added: “Each one more brilliant than the last.”

Last week, a previous episode of Spitting Image poked fun at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and promotional images released ahead of its airing, saw Meghan with a bowl of flowers in a reference to her Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’.

The Duke and Duchess are no strangers to being targeted by comedy writers, most famously in 2023 when they were the focus of an episode of South Park.

In February of 2023, the show aired The Worldwide Privacy Tour episode, which focused on two fictional characters called the Prince and Princess of Canada, who took on the striking looks of Harry and Meghan.

The title had seemed to reference the press tour of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, which had been released the month prior to the episode airing on Comedy Central.

Throughout the episode, the couple seeks privacy and seclusion in the quaint town of Colorado while performing actions that contradict their supposed wants.
