HORROR AFTER SCHOOL..! – A 15-YEAR-OLD BOY IS UNDERGOING EMERGENCY SURGERY AFTER POLICE SAY HE WAS BRUTALLY ATTACKED BY A GROUP ALLEGEDLY ARMED WITH MACHETES WHILE WALKING HOME FROM SCHOOL.
A 15-year-old boy was repeatedly stabbed by a group of three hooded thugs while walking home from school.
The youths yelled a ‘war cry’ before setting upon the teenager near Alkira Secondary College at Cranbourne North, in Melbourne‘s southeast, about 3.15pm on Monday.
The boy, who had been walking with two friends, managed to run away and collapsed on the nearby school oval.
He had walked only about 100metres from the school gate when he was attacked.
Paramedics rushed the boy from the oval to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for serious wounds.
It is understood he had another round of surgery on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the attackers used several knives and machetes to slash at the victim’s back, neck and hands.
There was a heavy police presence at school pickup on Tuesday following the incident.

Victoria Police Detective Inspector Mark Patrick described the attack as ‘extremely violent’.
‘Think about long-edged weapons and the reason you’re arming yourself with these weapons is to cause serious injury and to cause fear,’ he said.
Insp Patrick added the three attackers had yelled shortly before slashing the victim.
‘It’s similar to a war cry, when you go into battle, to get their attention and to create fear in their intended victims,’ he said.
The three offenders were not students, he said.
‘The group fled the scene on foot before police arrived,’ Victoria Police said in a statement.
‘A crime scene is in place and officers are still searching for the outstanding offenders.
‘Anyone who witnessed the incident, has dashcam or CCTV footage, or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.’
