Maryland State Police shared the compelling body camera video on X and praised the officers for their work.

“I need help,” the mother can be heard screaming from the front yard as police run over.

“My baby is choking…he’s not breathing.”

The two officers rushed to grab the boy. One officer immediately started patting him on the back while the baby was slouched over his knee.

On Valentine’s Day, another Maryland State Police officer saved a choking baby during a routine traffic stop.

“Without hesitation, Trooper First Class [Nicholas] Warren immediately called for emergency medical services personnel and removed the infant from the vehicle to perform life-saving first aid,” police said.

“In accordance with his training, he administered back blows for a few moments and removed the blockage. The baby then began breathing again.”
