I’M A Celeb host Dec Donnelly has weighed in on the feud between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard.
The show presenter surprisingly defended former footballer Jimmy following the clash, which saw him come to blows with the Emmerdale actor.

Adam and Jimmy clashed after the latter put their place in camp at risk by refusing to take part in a trial, saying the dreaded “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” phrase without even attempting the challenge.
Whilst that would usually mean you lose stars for camp, Jimmy knew that, on this occasion, refusing to do the trial meant both he and Adam would be sent home.
This left Adam furious as his place in camp was sacrificed unfairly, sending the actor into a tirade as he confronted Jimmy and said: “Are you f***ing taking the p***?”
Many viewers at home took Adam’s side as they understood his frustrations, while the camp was split over the altercation.

And now, Dec has stepped in to defend Jimmy.
He said on a new episode of the show’s Unpacked spin-off: “You can kind of understand Adam reacting the way he did because, like we say, he’d only just caught a break and he was having a nice time.
“He wanted to stay as long as he possibly could.
“But, on the other hand, you don’t know what people are going through in their own heads, mentally where Jimmy was.
“And what people have got going on in their own heads. So, you can’t fault Jimmy for that.”
Whilst Dec was talking about Jimmy, his co-host Ant McPartlin agreed and nodded with him.
Despite Jimmy’s actions meaning Adam was to go home, show bosses saw how unfair the situation was and allowed Adam to remain in camp while Jimmy left – following a vote from the camp.
It seems their campmates are still very split over the row, which happened during filming six months ago.
While Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt appear very much team Adam, Sinitta has spoken out in Jimmy’s defence.
She said on Instagram that ITV edited out a vicious insult Adam threw at Jimmy.
It was confirmation of our The Sun’s story, after we exclusively revealed that the broadcaster chose not to show the full extent of the almighty row between the two men on the All Stars spin-off show.
I’m A Celeb… South Africa continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
