Horrific new details of an attack at a leagues club in Brisbane’s east, which left three people wounded have been revealed.
Police were called to a “disturbance” at the Easts Leagues Club, Coorparoo at about 5.15pm on Thursday.
A 20-year-old woman, who is an employee of the club, suffered a 10cm laceration to her head, a 10cm laceration to her wrist, and multiple defensive wounds to her hands, police say.
A 61-year-old man, who was also an employee of the club, was stabbed in his abdomen.

Both were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in non-life-threatening conditions.
A 41-year-old woman who was having dinner at the club at the time, received a minor wound to her arm.
A 33-year-old man, who is believed to have been an employee at the club, was arrested and has since been charged.
He suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The man, from Woolloongabba, has since been charged with one count each of attempted murder, unlawful stalking, acts intended to cause GBH, unlawful wounding and going armed to cause fear.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 16 February.
Detective Superintendent Andrew Massingham told reporters on Friday the attack that unfolded on Thursday night was “confronting”.
“We are thankful this morning that the injuries to the victims while serious are not life threatening,” he said.
“In addition we commend the brave actions of those persons who put themselves in harms way to restrain the offender.”

Superintendent Massingham said they will be alleging the man is an employee of the premises where this occurred and that he had been subject of an internal investigation due to his behaviour at work.
“Further to this he had been advised that he had been excluded from that workplace due to his behaviour … and he was advised of that at 2pm yesterday afternoon,” he said.
“Despite that exclusion from the work premises he attended at 5.10pm.”
He attended the premises armed with a large knife, Superintendent Massingham alleges.
“At that time there were dozens of persons on that premises enjoying a meal,” he said.
Superintendent Massingham said footage of the incident was “confronting”.
“It unravelled very quickly,” he said.
“The fact of the matter is she was confronted in a hallway where she had little chance of escape.
“Upon immediately being set upon the 61-year-old chef went to her aid, getting stabbed in the process, which gave her adequate time to escape and seek refuge in another part of the club.
“Unfortunately the interactions of the chef only slowed the offender’s progress but was enough for the girl to get away where she could be assisted by other patrons.
“But at that secondary location, which was in the main dining area, she was set upon a second time by him, hence the defensive injuries and the injuries to the arm and the head.”
Police declared a crime scene on Thursday evening and said there was no ongoing danger to the public.
Easts Leagues Club said in a social media post on Friday that the venue would reopen at 11am on Friday.
“We want to acknowledge the bravery and compassion our team, members, and the community have shown following last night’s incident,” the statement said.
“Our security processes are robust and we want to reassure that our venue is safe.
“We are a members’ club, and we are here for our community.”
The club issued an earlier post on Thursday night confirming an incident had occurred and that the venue was closed as “we focus on supporting our staff and community”.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
