The son of one of the victims of an alleged triple-murder in the NSW central west has written an emotional message to his father as the search moves more than 100 kilometres in the opposite direction after a possible sighting.
Today, police swarmed a property at Kiacatoo, 50 kilometres away from Lake Cargelligo, where the murders occurred almost one week ago.
Police have promised extra security across the town with more patrols as locals continue to fear for their safety as the search for Julian Ingram continues.

Farmer Dean Phillips told 9News he was not hanging around to see if the search was successful.
“We’re trying to get the car and everybody and the family into town,” he told 9News.
“Basically, we don’t want to be here.
“We’re too worried to stay here.”
Ingram has been on the run for six days, outfoxing police in remote country.
“It is very difficult to find anyone out here, especially on these remote roads,” Phillips said.
Police continued to scour the red dirt roads despite the 46-degree heat that blanketed the enormous search zone.
“We’re searching properties that are 40,000 hectares,” Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland said2GB.
“To give you an indication, that’s probably the size of the Sydney metropolitan area.”
One of those killed was father-of-three John Harris.

Today, his uncle Dean read a heartbreaking message from John’s young son, Lucca.
“I miss you so much, and my heart hurts,” the message said.
“I’m going to miss playing Fortnite with you.
“I wish you were still here.
“I know you are in heaven looking after me, and I will find you every night in the sky.
“I love you, Dad.”
Authorities are hoping that Ingram is being worn down by the intense conditions.
“This offender himself would have to access water and provisions, making it extremely difficult for him also,” former deputy commissioner Mick Willing said.
