GB News host Patrick Christys didn’t hold back when he was discussing Meghan Markle’s upcoming Christmas Netflix special with viewers – even issuing a warning before his lengthy rant. The series, titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, is set to drop on December 3, and Patrick has torn the Duchess of Sussex to shreds over the show.

He began: “A warning that this broadcast contains scenes of a distressing nature and some viewers may find it distressing, and possibly, revolting. Meghan Markle is back with a new Netflix show… Let’s play the trailer.”

When Meghan can be heard in the minute-long festive trailer saying she loves the “holiday season”, Patrick pauses the clip to fume: “I hate that she says holiday season, it’s Christmas.”

Sharing more of the clip where Meghan says the festive period is about connecting with “people we love”, Patrick asks: “Will the children be seeing their grandparents this year, Meghan?

“Any Christmas wishes for your father, or are you going to have more pretend friends round your, or possibly someone else’s, kitchen again?”

He continued to slate the trailer, pausing at different parts to analyse and critique. “Meghan’s whole thing here is to try and make her look down-to-earth and approachable, and that illusion was somewhat shattered by an article which came out today by a journalist who revealed she went to interview Meghan at some random apartment in New York and here’s what she said…

“When I enter the house, the manager announces, ‘Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex,’ even though we appear to be the only two people in the house.”

Meghan’s representatives have been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.

Viewers were divided on Patrick’s takedown of Meghan, with some saying he had an “odd” take on the royal’s Netflix show.
