Travel Guides stars Jono Fren and wife Dani Fren have welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy!

“He’s our whole world,” said the new parents as they announced bub’s arrival and confirmed his adorable name: Theodore James Fren.

The couple, who announced the sweet news on Instagram with Woman’s Day, confirmed Theodore arrived on March 31 and they are enjoying every moment with their now three-week old.

“Our hearts are just so full of love for him. It’s been a big adjustment,” Jono and Dani told the online publication.

It’s also confirmed baby Theodore has inherited his dad Jono’s auburn hair colour. How sweet!

The couple admitted they were still getting used to feeding schedules, sleeping arrangement and all the nappy changes but they couldn’t imagine life any other way.

This is the first grandchild on Jono’s side of the family, making parents and Travel Guides stars Cathy and Mark Fren grandparents.

Fans rushed to the comments section to congratulate the stars.

“Wow, he’s a gorgeous boy, how special, Congrats to all! 👏😍,” wrote one follower.

“Congratulations on your gorgeous little bundle of love,” said another.

Jono and Dani’s pregnancy announcement

Jono and Dani announced they were expecting their first child October last year.

“I’ve had some incredible adventures around the globe, but nothing will top this next one,” Jono wrote at the time in an Instagram post of a sonogram, teddy bear and a onesie.

“@danifren and I are excited to announce Baby Fren is due April 2026.”

In the photo announcement, the star included a wooden plaque that read: “Our greatest adventure awaits”.

“It’s crazy to think that we are beginning to prepare for Baby Fren who will change our lives forever. 👶🍼,” they revealed online as Dani reached her halfway pregnancy mark.

“We are extremely unorganised, underprepared and underestimating how much parenthood will change our lives, but we are lucky to have incredible role models and hearts so full of love already.

“Baby Fren, you are going to turn our lives upside down but in the best possible way! 🥰,” Dani added.

Jono and Dani’s relationship timeline

Jono and his now wife-of-four-years Dani first connected on Tinder in 2019.

Fast forward seven months, and the Travel Guides star popped the question while on holidays in the US at a home game for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The pair tied the knot in June 2021 in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in Luskintyre, a rural area in the Hunter Region of New South Wales.

In May 2024, the couple celebrated something they “never thought [they] would achieve” – buying their first home together!

Jono’s family have credited Dani for bringing him out of his shell and audiences could see that for themselves as Dani finally joined the Frens on a Travel Guides holiday.

A moment six years in the making, in July 2025 Danielle tagged along with the Frens on a trip to Japan while sister Victoria was away at work.

“I’ve been hearing about Jono’s travel stories for about six years now so it’s nice to be here to experience it first hand with everyone,” Dani told cameras.
