The six bodies were found in Laredo, Texas on Sunday at the Union Pacific rail yard inside a shipping container.
On Tuesday, the Webb County Medical Examiner said that the six victims included a 14-year-old boy from Honduras and a 24-year-old male from Honduras.
The four other victims were all from Mexico and included a 29-year-old female, a 45-year-old male, and 56-year-old male.
The 29-year-old woman died from heat stroke, as temperatures surpassed 100 degrees in Texas.

“I’ve ruled that an accidental death,” Webb County Medical Examiner Dr. Corinne Stern said, according to the Associated Press.
Autopsies for the other victims are still being conducted, but Stern said she believes they also died from heat stroke, or hyperthermia.
The six bodies were first discovered by a Union Pacific employee while conducting an inspection.
All six of the victims were pronounced dead on the scene when police arrived.
Laredo Mayor Victor Treviño said “this tragedy strikes at the center of our humanity.”
“In our close-knit binational community, every loss is felt deeply. Our hearts are with the families and loved ones affected, and we thank our first responders for their efforts during this difficult time.”
The case is being actively investigated “as a potential human smuggling event,” Homeland Security Investigations said.
The Laredo Police Department and Texas Rangers are assisting with the investigation.

The shipping container’s travel history is currently unknown. Laredo sits on the US-Mexico border.
Union Pacific said in a statement that it is “saddened by this incident and is working closely with law enforcement to investigate.”
On Monday, police discovered a seventh body near railroad tracks in San Antonio, roughly 160 miles away from where the six others were found.
Police currently believe that this could be connected to the six victims found in the shipping container.
“At this point, the prevailing theory is that he’s a resident of Mexico that was among the group that was being smuggled into the country in one of these shipping containers,” Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.
Police said that the seventh victim was a male.
